Creating jewelry offers an intimacy and commitment to refinement that speaks to my sensibilities.

Medieval tapestries were often political or religious parables clothed in classical allusions. 

Bettina has worked in fibre for over 40 years with an emphasis on embroidery and fabric collage

Craft was Briana’s first ever love. Although, as a child, she didn’t realize the gift that it would give her later on in adulthood

I am a textile artist working from my studio-by-the-sea on the edge of a small island in the Salish Sea of British Columbia. 

Over her 42-year career, Debra has divided her energy between supporting the development of the ceramic arts of BC and her own practice.

Our creations are all limited editions, as each piece is handmade, and each design evolves organically.

Her work blends new material making technologies with traditional metalsmithing processes to create bold metal forms, then colourful acrylic is finely cut by hand and inlayed within. 

She is continually inspired by the west coast and currently lives and works in Vancouver, B.C.

Putting a thread together in warp and weft – weaving presents endless possibilities for self-expression, by combining weaving patterns, colours and materials.

Kaarina is a fibre artist, designing and hand-crafting silk evening bags in striking colours and strong forms, which are softened by the addition of tassels and vintage buttons

I am a self-taught wood turner and a retired Civil Engineer.

A felt artist since 2001, Monica enjoys working with the natural wool fibre colours of cream, greys, browns and blacks, including fibres from Pender Island raised sheep and alpaca.

My art work is highly textured and can be characterized as semi-abstract.

My work is a collection of handmade contemporary jewelry. Every piece is hand fabricated, not cast, in ethical precious metals, making each piece one of a kind.

Olympia’s technique comprises of forging each piece by hand. Meaning the creation of her jewellery does not involve the use of wax, molds or casting.
